I went to this office bec I missed my original appt at another clinic and my doctor was available here. Front desk staff is very nice and accommodating. I came in one hour prior to my appointment bec I saw the wrong time on my calendar and they accommodated me. They saw I walk with a cane (even though I’m only in my 40s 😔) and the staff went around the front desk to help me with forms. If I don’t live 45 minutes away from this office, I would definitely come back.

Dr. Rodriguez was wonderful during my visit. I came in for my regular Botox treatment for chronic tension headaches, but I also wanted to discuss another treatment option I’ve been considering. He took a significant amount of time to listen to my concerns, talk through the possible causes and contributors to my headache pain, and explain different approaches to treatment. I never felt rushed or dismissed.

What stood out most was how genuinely heard and understood I felt. Chronic pain can be frustrating, especially when you’ve been dealing with it for years, and it meant a great deal to have a physician engage with my questions so thoughtfully and take my experience seriously. Even though we may run into insurance limitations with the treatment we discussed, I left the appointment feeling like Dr. Rodriguez was truly invested in helping me find the best path forward. I really appreciated his time, knowledge, and compassion.

I've only visited once so far, but the experience was really great. I really appreciate that Amit Patel approaches pain management from a truly comprehensive standpoint (versus just physical therapy, or just pharmacology, or just chiropracty, etc.)

They were able to get me in quickly, my doctor was very attentive & helpful. Very appreciative.

Very good experience. I didn’t have to wait very long to see Dr Patel. He is very friendly but professional. He recommended a procedure for my sciatica pain which worked 100%.

I love this practice! Dr. Patel specifically has been one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I’ve ever had. I have so much appreciation for him not only helping me manage my pain but also for referring me to a rheumatologist. If it wasn’t for him I would have never been able to get to the root of a lot of the problems I have. After almost 8 years of dealing with chronic pain and seeing different specialists he has really been a life saver! I also want to add that in the last 8 years I’ve had at least 3 MRIs and he has been the only Dr to sit and show me stuff because as a patient we don’t understand reports.

I am truly 90% better, even with spinal stenosis, I am now walking without a walker or cane. It is so amazing, how much I've improved.

I see many negative reviews about being unable to contact office. I always use the Patient Portal for refills and other info and have never had any delays or failure to respond to me.

I used to see Dr Sanderson at Gambrills before he moved away (he’s back now) who is awesome! Since he left I’ve been seeing Amit Patel, and just stuck with him even upon Dr Sanderson’s return. He is absolutely amazing and I recommend him to everyone.. family, friends, even patients! He definitely cares deeply about his patients. He’s extremely kindhearted, competent and goes above and beyond ALWAYS! He takes his time with you and rather than going off of radiologists reports he looks at all images personally. I’ve also never had an issue with wait times and the clinic is always clean. The MA’s there are great as well! I can’t praise them enough! Def more than 5 stars ⭐️

Dr Patel was spot on with his decision and plan for my recovery

I have never, that I recall, had a doctor come into the office to see me, that told me everything about myself, that I was going to tell him. I was so impressed as a new patient that the doctor actually went over my records and knew so much about me! I know this sounds ridiculous to be so excited, but having to fill out all the paperwork that we do as a new patient and then to have to tell the doctor everything in the paperwork is just not the way things should be. The doctor was poliet, compassionate, intelligent, resourceful, and I believe that this doctor is the key to my healing after nearly 10 years!

I've seen two wonderful, non-judgemental practitioners here. They really care about you as a whole person and are willing to listen to what you need. Can't recommend highly enough!

Wow where do I start?? First off my son has seen 3 doctors in the past 13 months he’s been going there they were all good doctors but 2 went above and beyond( at least I felt as though I felt they did) so my son is over weight along with other medical problem's. My son receives his care from Dr.Patel now and he’s a life saver literally he’s so intelligent and is so compassionate, kind, caring and above all patient. There are no words to truly show my gratitude to this doctor!!!

Ebony and Nana are kind and efficient. Dr Patel is exceptional with 17 years honing his analytical skills with my MRI’s. He explained thoroughly why I continue to have lumbar pain and my options to alleviate it. Dr. Patel gave me hope, guidance and direction. I’m so grateful!

Always have a great experience

I’ve been going to see Dr. Sanderson for a couple months now. He’s helping me through a couple physical situations. One thing I really like is he’s a bit of an “old-school” doctor. He really takes the time to listen to me and takes the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly. His recommendations have consistently been spot- on. ‘No hesitation recommending him and his people to anybody needing help with pain management.

First time at this location and everything went well. Will return.

I’ve only been to Clearway a few times. I see doctor Patel and I’m thoroughly impressed! He truly cares and it shows. I have another surgery scheduled in about a month and unlike in the past he went over my pain management plan in advance so I know I’ll be taken care of. The entire office staff is awesome as well. Dr. Foo and Dr. Patel are very patient and caring. They listen to what my issues are and respond with a thoughtful treatment plan that I understand. They both alway ask before I leave if I have any other concerns and that we addressed them fully.

Clearway Pain Solutions – A Tale of Two Locations

I’ve had mixed experiences with Clearway Pain Solutions, but my recent visit to the Gambrills location was by far the best experience I’ve had with any medical provider.

In contrast, my previous visit to the Annapolis location was incredibly frustrating. I checked in and told the front desk who my appointment was with. I understand that doctors can run behind, but I was left sitting in the waiting room for 2.5 hours without any updates. When I finally asked what was going on, the staff seemed indifferent and even got an attitude when I expressed frustration over my time being wasted. That visit was a solid two thumbs down.

Now, fast forward to Gambrills — a complete 180. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and truly accommodating. PA Amil Patel was excellent. He took the time to explain my procedure thoroughly and set clear expectations for what would happen afterward. It was incredibly reassuring, and I left the office feeling confident, informed, and genuinely cared for.

Needless to say, I highly recommend the Gambrills location of Clearway Pain Solutions. Their customer service was above and beyond, and they clearly understand what it means to treat patients with respect and compassion.

Definitely feel heard and respected at this doctor. Dr. Sanderson is thorough and detailed with his patients, and I look forward to follow-up and treatment planning as we take time to focus on me and my overall pain that needs attention after years of neglect and focusing on weight loss. The damage I did for years on the basketball court is now presently causing more pain than I ever imagined at my age.

Amit Patel is amazing. He fully explained my MRI results and the subsequent steps to take to get rid of my pain. His knowledge of lumbar spinal stenosis and cure is very extensive. Using pictures from my MRI and a model of the spine, he expertly and thoroughly, laid out a game plan for me to recover my life activity of pain-free walking, standing and better balance.
I left today after my visit full of hope that has sadly been absent for a good while.
