Donna’s introduction to healthcare began at the age of eleven volunteering as a candy striper at Kimbrough Army Hospital in Fort Meade, Maryland. After graduating from Arundel High School, she attended both Union Memorial and Harbor Hospital Nursing programs in Baltimore, Maryland graduating as a Registered nurse.
Following graduation, she began her thirty-three-year nursing career with Memorial Hospital at Easton. There, she worked in a multitude of capacities ranging from coronary care to specialty units such as the emergency department, inpatient dialysis and critical care transport.
In 2015 Donna earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and entered the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Simmons College and ultimately graduating from Chamberlain University with her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Donna is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) as well as certified in critical care, trauma and an ACLS provider. Caring for patients at KureSmart Pain Management fulfills her lifelong commitment to providing quality care for a variety of vulnerable populations. Her mission statement is to provide holistic and ethical care in a manner that empowers us all.
