Greesh John, MD is double board certified in Anesthesia and Pain Medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Medicine & Pharmacy in Romania before completing his Anesthesiology Residency at the John H. Stronger, JR Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. While in residency, Dr. John was twice named “Resident of the Year.” After completing residency, Dr. John completed a Pain Management Fellowship at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.
Dr. John believes in treating patients with an individualized plan of care that utilizes multiple modalities to target the source of pain. He has a special interest in using spinal cord stimulation to target pain caused by complex-regional pain syndrome (CRPS), diabetic neuropathy, post-laminectomy syndrome and other conditions.
When Dr. John is not working, he enjoys golfing and fencing as well as attending the opera. In addition to English, Dr. John is fluent in Romanian, Malayalam, Hindi, and Marathi.
