Dr. Lesley Walsh is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician. She received her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and completed her residency training in anesthesiology at Tulane University. Dr. Walsh went on to complete a dual fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in pain medicine and advanced regional anesthesia, and acute pain management. During her fellowship, Dr. Walsh served as a instructor in Anesthesiology, Regional Anesthesia, and Acute Pain Management at Kijabe Hospital in Kenya. Dr. Walsh is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine and the American Society of Anesthesiologists.
Dr. Walsh has dedicated her practice on providing the most up to date and patient-centered care focused on reducing pain while restoring function and quality of life to her patients. Dr. Walsh’s area of expertise is in pain management with special interests in the multidisciplinary treatment approach and interventional treatment options, including those for spinal pain, joint pain, and pelvic pain.
When Dr. Walsh is not treating patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and dogs, boating, and watching LSU and Saints football.
