Dr. Parth N. Patel, DO, is now seeing patients at our Salisbury, MD location. Dr. Patel is a dedicated physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a robust focus on interventional spine and musculoskeletal medicine.
Dr. Patel earned his medical degree as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY. Following his medical degree, he completed his preliminary year of Internal Medicine training at Morristown Medical Center in NJ, followed by residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mercy Hospital/Good Samaritan University Hospital in Rockville Centre, NY, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Patel then further honed his interventional skills through a prestigious fellowship in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at OSS Health in York, PA.
Throughout his training and career, Dr. Patel has been involved in numerous research projects and educational initiatives, significantly enhancing his expertise in pain management.
Dr. Patel’s commitment to patient care is complemented by his scholarly activities, including presentations at national conferences and publications on a range of topics from complex regional pain syndrome to innovative treatments for acute and chronic pain conditions, as well as topics of exercise physiology.
In addition to his clinical and research pursuits, Dr. Patel is actively involved in the community and professional development. He has volunteered extensively, providing medical coverage at sporting events, Rock Steady Boxing programs for patients with Parkinson’s Disease, and contributing to health awareness initiatives.
