Dr. Sargoon Nepaul is an interventional pain management physician with a diverse clinical background in physical medicine, rehabilitation, and internal medicine. She has completed a fellowship in Interventional Chronic Pain at Thomas Jefferson University’s Department of Anesthesia. Prior to this, she served as Chief Resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Georgetown MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Georgetown Washington Hospital Center.

Dr. Nepaul brings a strong academic and research foundation to her clinical work. She has authored several peer-reviewed publications on topics such as cluneal neuropathy, cancer rehabilitation, and neural decoding, and has presented her work at national conferences including the AAP and ASRA. Her clinical interests include neuromodulation, cancer pain, pelvic pain, and advanced interventional techniques for spine and joint conditions.

Throughout her career, Dr. Nepaul has been committed to education and mentorship, leading journal clubs, delivering lectures, and serving in various leadership roles aimed at fostering diversity and inclusion in medicine. She is a member of multiple professional societies including the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), ASRA Pain Medicine, and the North American Neuromodulation Society.

Fluent in Hindi and Punjabi, Dr. Nepaul enjoys cooking, dancing, gardening, and practicing yoga in her free time. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers patients to manage their pain and improve their quality of life.
