Todd Ruth, M.D., is a double board-certified interventional pain physician available for patient consultation. After leaving his hometown of Philadelphia for Yale University, Dr. Ruth completed medical school at Thomas Jefferson School of Medicine before completing his residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He stayed for a fellowship year to further specialize his training in Interventional Pain Medicine.
Dr. Ruth has interests in innovative pain management techniques and the implementation of novel technologies, techniques and medications in pursuit of opioid-free pain relief regimens. Of note, he has a particular interest in minimally invasive alternatives to surgery for spinal stenosis, treatment of compression fractures, and spinal cord stimulation.
Dr. Ruth is a member of multiple societies such as, The American Academy of Pain Management, North American Neuromodulation Society, Spine Intervention Society, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, and The American Society of Pain & Neuroscience where he also sits on the neuromodulation board.
When he’s not with patients, Dr. Ruth enjoys time at home with his wife, daughter, son, dog and cats.
